Review on 🔦 Smoke Lens LED Side Mirror for Jeep Wrangler JK JKU (2007-2018) - White Spot Lights, Amber Turn Signal Lights - Xprite by Jeff Jordan

First of all if you are thinking of buying you will save half a day as it takes over 4 hours to install. It's just too much work to plug it in and get it working. PROSA, as for the side mirrors, they're good and people notice them right away. Looks very nice when the turn signals are on. White LEDs are very bright. (Sorry I took daytime photos, will try to update this post.) LED lights will help you with peripheral vision if that's what you're looking for. CONS1. Time and scope of installation work2. The instructions could be better, especially when it comes to explaining what the wires are. Yellow is a turn signal. Red is for LEDs. Obviously black earth. Make sure your ground wire is grounded to a good spot or the turn signal and LEDs will not work properly. It would also be nice if the instructions explained how to remove the mirror from the original black housing.3. The wires that control the turn signals and LEDs are too small. Could easily be 16 gauge, but 20 gauge is way too small in my opinion. However, they are very short. You go halfway through the door. Be prepared to buy additional cables.4. As you can see from the photos, the new side mirror didn't fit the original base very well. You can see the wires.5. The original mirrors are too small for the new black part of the body. As you can see in the photo there is a big gap and the wires are visible again. 3 STARS. The time and labor required for installation and the overall end product doesn't deserve more. Hope that helps.
