The shipping, packaging and delivery were spot on, the black plastic inserts were not consistent causing me to bend the corner with a 2x4 block of wood and one pound hammer. Somehow during assembly at the manufacturers packaging, 2 pieces of the plastic inserts were from another sized unit and were mixed in with the other pieces, causing me to bend the metal corner of one of the shelves. I am no way saying this is a bad shelving unit, but the 2 pieces that were not shiny plastic, they were thicker, dull finished and would not let the shelf snap into place. This resulted in me bending the corner before realized it had happened. Once I found the issue with the odd pieces, removed them and replaced them with the shiny pieces, and everything snapped into place. At this point of the assembly, I did not want to disassemble and return the unit because that would add even more frustration to the process. I can live with bent corner and yes I have assembled these units before so I know how they assemble. Each corner pole is 3 sections of poles to get the full height, I found that if you want to pick up the unit, the lower section will disconnect because the poles are not interlocking. All said, I will keep the shelving unit, but I won't buy another because of what I found out during assembly.
