The silicone construction and beveled side help to get the last bits of my charcoal mask out of the case and apply the mask evenly to my face while keeping my hands clean. The stubble side helps clean my face thoroughly and thoroughly. Easy to clean, flexible and durable. Especially since I don't have to dig out the charcoal mask from under my nails.
