(photo after 1 month of use) The book is really nice and thick, with many pockets and places for inserts/notebooks/etc. Love the magnetic pockets for cash and credit card slips. The magnets are pretty strong and even if I have a stack of bills it stays closed. I also like the little loop for my pen. I didn't have any problems with dirt from the outside because I opted for the black lid. The metal bumpers around the edges are great for keeping the stitching strong after being constantly pushed into the apron. I have a small green mark with a pen over the buttonhole that I can't remove and had a few random stitches after a week. Cords on the handle strap. I just took it off and haven't had any problems since. The zippered change pocket is also very shallow and difficult to open, so I have no idea how to put coins in it. This can be useful for coupons or other items that you rarely use. I haven't found any use for it. It's a bit shorter than some checkbooks so I had to trim the bottom of my notebook to fit, but that's not a big deal to me. !
