They have a high quality machined aluminum body with an aluminum circuit board. Matte plastic lens. All the wires from the lamp are about 8 feet long and there is an extension cord to connect them, then the extension cord connects to the switch/power supply harness. It comes with screws short enough not to pierce the bottom of your cabinets. There's only about three or four feet between the switch and the power supply, so you'll need to set up the wiring. I cut and spliced all the wires from the lamps and routed them straight to the light switch to avoid rat nests under the counter. I used mounting tape to attach the switch to the bottom of the cabinet. Using some of the wire I cut from the lamps, I ran the wire harness from the power supply to the switch so I could place the switch on the underside of the closet. All in all, with two sets of lamps, three each, I spent about 90 minutes cutting, soldering and shrinking the wires. I installed them on Jan 14 '17 and today is Feb 15 '17 and they were on 24/7 the whole time. They are warm to the touch; about 106 degrees Fahrenheit. To be honest at this price point I expected them to fail now. They are very bright, so bright that my wife and I forget to turn on the overhead light when we enter the kitchen. They look lovely if you bend over and look under the counter to see them, but who does that? They are definitely warm white. In my opinion, it is no different from the LED. I paid eighteen dollars, half what Home Depot charged, for an under-counter lightbulb. I want to buy two more sets just to have on hand! I am very happy with this purchase. I like the price, quality, ease of installation and performance. I would definitely buy them again. ******EDIT****** I purchased these from Fibleberry in 2017 and this is August 2020. They were literally on 24/7, non-stop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no hiccups or outages . They were only switched off when the power went out or when the woman threw the kitchen waste in the dustbin on the porch on Thursdays in the summer to avoid attracting flying insects. If you know what buyer regret is, it's the complete opposite! I really couldn't be happier with this purchase.
