These candles have exceeded all my expectations. They first came in a nice, thick, compact box with everything you need to set it up, be it a countertop or a window. I used mine in our windows. They are really very bright (when it's dark outside) and flicker a bit. The best is the remote control. This pup is easygoing and gets the job done. Maybe remote controls aren't that important for some people, but I like ON, OFF and TIMER. Turn it on and then press the timer. And you will get 3 options. .4 hours, 5 hours or 8 hours. Ready! My house and barn will look very festive. I would add that the lack of cords and the pretty good suction cup allowed me to get creative. I placed a candle in the center of my door window to flicker in the center of the wreath that hung outside.
