Review on ViewSonic VG2456A 1920X1080 Monitor: Ergonomic Design, 60Hz, OSD, HDMI & HD Display by Robert Halpern

I bought this model mainly for the built in docking station and speakers. What I like. 1. One USB-C cable for all video/audio and USB devices.2. In sleep mode, the docking station stays on.3. Look. Looks spectacular with thin top and side bezels.4. Built-in dock.What don't like.1. The speaker volume is very low, the monitor is set to 100% and the PC audio is set to 100%2. It takes 6 buttons to adjust the speaker volume on the monitor to go to the volume control.3. The "Dock" is disabled when you press the power button to turn off the display. You can leave USB power on, but there is no option to leave Ethernet on. Response from ViewSonic "Sorry, this device doesn't work for you." While I understand that "disconnecting the monitor" can cause the dock to turn off, I believe it should be possible to turn the dock on left when USB power is on. Why allow one without the other?.4. Only 2 side USB ports. In addition to the two side USB ports, it requires 2 "rear" USB ports.
