My review of using it in a sports car with a bigger phone, heavier case and popsocket: I drive a car with stiffer suspension and this mount WORKS. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with an Otterbox Commuter (not the thinnest but not the thickest Otterbox) and I also have a pop jack and it still works very, very well. To be honest I didn't want to get rid of my pop socket and was looking for a solution on how to have a vent mount and still keep the socket. I had to detach the popsocket and raise it a bit so it didn't get in the way, then slip a square magnet in between the plastic and rubber of my Otterbox. I know my phone is quite heavy considering the size and body. So when I'm driving, my phone bounces a bit, but the mount itself doesn't move in the vent. I love that I can rotate it and change the tilt to fit anything. I haven't had any other magnetic phone mounts, but I don't have an issue with the phone slipping even before the popsocket replacement. technically upside down (with the lock icons upside down) but in my car this retained the functionality of the vent - at least left to right. Not much up and down. Anyway, I really like the mount. It was easy to install, easy to use, holds my phone and just WORKS. Whether you want to use a popsocket or have a pro max, it works and works well! If it ever breaks, I'll have no hesitation in buying a new one.
