I used to have a cheap 6ft cable but it worked pretty quickly out of nowhere. I've been jumping from charger to charger ever since. I must have gone through 3 cables in almost a year. I had enough and found this cable. My needs were that I needed at least a longer cable that would fit my android that I can switch from my car to my room. I read this and it said it had improved loading speed or something. And now it WORKS. I don't know of any cable that can charge my phone to more than 20 to 40 percent of what it was before in less than an hour. At the time I was only plugging in my car to keep my phone working, but with this cable I'm getting even more power than before I plugged it in. I've only ever worried about being under 30% (I commute a lot) and now that worry is gone. To be honest I don't know how well built this cable is, but it does more than what is needed to get the job done. And in length and speed, and in the overall quality of the cable. Say goodbye to exposed wires on old cables. The best part? I'm typing this from the other side of the bed while charging. Yes. The 6-foot cords swing, but they didn't find anything on this one. Was recently at 70% almost fully charged now. That's a good feeling.
