I'm new to linen bedding but I only wash and dry them every week and they've really gotten softer. I've noticed that I sleep better and more soundly because I no longer wake up several times every night because I'm too hot. That means I wake up refreshed. AFTER ALL. I ordered a set of king sheets that only came with 2 king pillowcases, so I ordered 2 standard sheets separately. The color was the same as the sheets (yay) but the color is just lighter than the pictures for the 'linen' color, they look more like oats and appear brown in the pictures. I use them with a white quilt so the color still contrasts but combines with the cream and off-white and brown tones in my room which makes my room feel very spa like and relaxing. They are worth their price.
