I have had this product for about 5 months now. I have it on a printer that prints very little, and I've never used more than two reams of paper. The black cartridge was empty so it lasted less than 1,000 pages. The quality of this cartridge is very poor. After prolonged use, colored printouts become illegible with lines, streaks, etc. Toner cartridges are also "dirty” so that toner streaks and streaks appear on the edges of the paper. All in all this is a bad product. The Canon IMageclass 622 is a beautiful, high quality printer that produces beautiful and vibrant prints when used with expensive Canon cartridges. Switching to this cheaper product completely wastes this printer. You are better off buying an inferior printer with inferior toner and at least knowing it is inferior quality. Better bite the bullet and buy Canon products. At least you know you'll have high-quality prints.
