Excellent starter kit

I've been doing diamond painting for about 3 months. I started with a little bit to see if I wanted to do it and I was hooked! They keep me busy in my free time, and I even do them while listening to cassette tapes of school books. For me, they don't require much thought, allowing me to focus on my book while I'm still working on a diamond painting. I first put my diamonds in the journal but it only had 14 slots so I had to use some round cosmetic jars I had. I marked the top with tape and a marker. Before doing the following, I ordered the same container and used white dots on the corner points and noted what type of container it was. The next one I made was even bigger and needed more containers and now I have one that needs even more containers so I needed additional containers. I also wanted bigger pens so I can place more pens in solid color areas, one of my really big pens will have a lot of these. This set comes with a box which is a clear plastic container with smaller containers inside. Each row of 4 is attached to each other with 7 rows. The outer box has two latches that snap securely into place, and the lid of each container also closes securely. That's double security. When the lid of the container comes off, the lid of the large container prevents the lid of the small container from opening fully and spilling the diamonds everywhere. Also in this set there are 10 pads of pink glue that I take and put down. Cosmetic jars without a plastic lid to keep them fresh and don't attract dirt. There are also 3 turning pins. Each has one end for a handle and the other ends are 3, 6, and 9. I took some small dot stickers I have for my essential oil bottle caps, but each blank sticker that fits, and one for each of the small containers placed. Then I wrote the number or letter that corresponded to the diamonds. They can be easily removed later or simply put another one over them. Each container contains quite a few diamonds, but I recommend not labeling them until you start placing diamonds. I had a set of diamonds that was much larger than the others and ended up having to put the rest in a container. It wasn't a big problem, but it can be annoying for some people. I really like that you can pull out small containers. By grouping it by 4 I can edit those 4 colors individually and then take the next set. If you are just starting out with diamond painting, this is a great kit. If you've been doing this for a while and have a large collection of leftover diamonds, this isn't ideal. It's perfect for me who doesn't make them or take them seriously. I just need to keep my diamonds organized and easily accessible!
