Nooooo. In short: it makes kite flying easy for an amateur like me. Longer story: I was really upset about a Delta Stowaway kite I got. He caught the wind and rose a little, then dived and bombarded the ground. Maybe I could make some adjustments, but I have no idea what I'm doing. I bought the ponytail on a whim and decided to give it a try. This fully stabilized the kite. All I had to do was hold on and the wind did the rest. That looks like BA too. Yes that's right, a kite can be a BA. Disclaimer: I had a good wind in an open field on the coast. This tail probably doubled the kite's weight. In light winds, the results may not be as good.
