This is my very first slider so I wouldn't expect it to be huge is , but it works as advertised. I paired my 5D mk ii with a 24-70 ii lens just for testing and it works great. It tends to be a bit heavy at the front, but that's to be expected with a lens this big and heavy. Gliding is very smooth and almost noiseless. The bag that comes with it is great too! The slide is well made and has withstood all the abuse I have given it so far.
