The dress fits perfectly true to size and my daughter loved it. However, the bottom hem of the dress is stuffed with plastic thread, and less than a couple of hours after the dress was worn, the thread started falling out, which was easily fixed by simply cutting it, but if you didn't have scissors handy , random plastic threads will be visible and obvious. The dress is very cute though, so I would recommend it if you are looking for a cheap dress for a little girl, but be sure to bring scissors.
