Nothing special here

Not what I expected from a $25 belt. I may not be aware of the current prices. My other belts tend to last a long time. I know they are old because they say "Made in USA". I have made many things in China that I am happy with, but this belt is not one of them. The details say it's 100% leather, all leather and 100% other fibers - so what is it? It's not as flexible as some of the other belts I own. I hung up the strap before putting it on as it was rolled up tight. After a few days it no longer hangs straight. The interior looks more "plastic" than real leather, probably a leather composite. I've only had it for a few weeks so I'll see how it holds up over the long term. It's a beautiful belt, just not what I was hoping for. The fit was pretty good. I'm 34 but if I was 34+ I would need the next size up. I also deduct points for the logo on the buckle, I'm not a fan of free advertising. I was also hoping for a thinner belt, but that information is hard to come by online. While it's not the thickest band I've had, it's probably in the mid-range. Overall the strap looks decent, the outer leather(?) has a nice finish. Suitable as an everyday belt, I was looking for a more elegant belt. I will update if there are cracks or other issues.
