Smells and tastes like rubber

Pros: Lids fit standard soda cans well. Cons: They smell like RUBBER! It is so strong that it detracts from the taste of the drink. And it makes your drink taste like a smell. I washed them with dish soap and also put them in the dishwasher. The smell is still there. I currently soak them in baking soda and water. It still stinks. I'll leave it overnight and see if it changes. Also, the design is not what I imagined. The spout you drink from is uncomfortable because it sticks out too far. I feel like I'm pouring a drink in my mouth instead of drinking it. Conclusion: I send them back.
