Quality build with metal body and high quality clear display. Really easy to use, with two controls: brightness and color temperature. It's hard for me to imagine anyone looking into a camera in 100% light. I set it to 15% and it's about as bright as I think you could need it. However, the extra power is there if you ever need it for extra lighting and away from your face. This thing can go blindingly bright in a good way. Color temperature is great, great design for transition from cool/blue to warm/yellow. You decide to install it on your laptop. The battery life seems great, at 15% it is said to last up to 8 hours. I haven't tested it for wear and tear yet, but in a week of using the battery, I never once dropped below 50% between charges after several hours of daily use. As the brightness increases, I expect the battery life to decrease. Overall impressed with the fixture itself. Pleasant feeling of quality and BRIGHTNESS!
