I switched to a hanging toiletry bag with this purchase. Having just used it on my first trip to multiple countries, I can now report that it works great in a variety of situations. When I didn't have a hook to hang it, it was able to stand upright on a table. Two reasons this worked so well for me: all my stuff was organized and it was also packed to fit in my suitcase. And the black and white polka dot print with red border is so cute! My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a hook pad in the bag when not in use so it doesn't interfere with closing the bag.
