Well, I have an apple pencil with a sleeve. My bag is the standard tome bag with room for an apple pencil. but as my pencil has a sleeve it doesn't fit in the pencil case of the case so i had to think of something else as i lose my pencil when there is no space for it. I bought this sling and as I tell you I thought it was bad, but it's a huge game changer. It's really nice to use and I was afraid the strap would lift the case when the case lay flat on the iPad, but no, surprisingly it doesn't get in the way. Also, it won't hurt you if you fold the case back together with the strap. Doesn't affect my writing or streaming. I've had it for a few months now and I really like it.
