I think that for anyone who understands stylish and good shoes, Florsheim is on their list. I grew up watching my dad and grandpa wear them. We had a factory in Flörsheim in the city where they were made by hand by employees. Due to their good quality, they were a status symbol for a long time. It's different now with plastic shoes and in China, where good quality is no longer the priority. However, some of that essence stays in these shoes, they are still comfortable shoes and are no longer handmade or made in America, but the machines in China do a pretty good job of making these shoes comfortable. My husband is a teacher and he stands for hours, he prefers these for work and said they are great for long hours in class.
