Little did I know boyfriend-style watches had been so popular with women lately. I thought the watch looked slightly larger than the Timex I always wore (thin strap). The heavy dial of this watch took up my entire wrist and the strap was four times wider than I'm used to. It felt like wearing a thick cuff. Nice easy read and it was nice because I'm 70 years old and myopic. However, the watch looked so impressive that I sent it back. I'm a musician, I play violin and guitar, I appreciate the feeling of freedom in my wrists and hands. TIP: Many of the tiles with images for different clocks have an image of a hand and the size of the clock in relation to a woman's hand and hand. I am returning this cute watch and ordered a regular size women's watch that I have worn for 50 years. I put it on and it feels like a feather. For me functionality is more important than fashion. PS I cannot follow the European sizes of the dial and strap. I need to know in inches.
