If you're really looking for a short 4 pin extension cord you won't find a better one but I needed something else. I really needed a custom adapter cable for an aerospace application and the only way to get one was to build it myself. So I used this cable as a base. After cutting off the socket I was left with a good 4 pin plug with the cable attached. The conductors supplied are stranded copper (without foil) that can be easily stripped and soldered. I soldered my connector to these wires and now I have my own adapter!
