Review on Compact and Portable Sony ICF-P36 AM/FM 📻 Radio - Sleek Black Design for On-The-Go Entertainment by Victor Garro

My first Sony ICF-P36 had terrible AM reception. I returned it. That is unacceptable in 2020. They have the equipment at the factory to tune these radios for maximum performance. If I had to donate one of these for an emergency, I would definitely order one for myself and test it on other radios first to make sure it works properly. And I did. The second wasn't trimmed for maximum performance either compared to Sony's sister radio ICF-P26, but was very close to the 90% sensitivity of the perfectly tuned P26 example I have, which is acceptable. Players on the AM band if properly set at the factory. My P26 works as well or better at night than any other AM radio I own and I have over 15 of these including much larger radios and radios that cost over 5 times the price. Please Sony improve the quality control of this product!
