It's big but fits me perfectly

I think I just got lucky with the size. We struggled to find my son's shoe size. The Walmart 3 size was too short and the Walmart 4 size was long enough but so wide that they didn't stay on my son's legs. I love that the ankle strap can be tightened to stay on my thin foot. Size 3 here fit him perfectly with thick socks during our trip. They are getting a bit small and I ordered a size 3.5 Rite-Step and was surprised that they were a lot smaller than these size 3 boots. I think these boots run large.
