A father of three who warmed up some mouthguards, this one is not fond of heat. I followed the directions and let it sit for 30 seconds and also "checked for shrinkage or wrinkles" as instructed as you may need to remove it immediately before. At the 30 second mark when I pulled it out with a spoon the mouthguard buckled. Not just a curl, but severe, like the Wicked Witch's toes in The Wizard of Oz. It was instantaneous, not gradual, so I didn't get a chance to fix it. It curled up on its own and was unusable as it stuck to itself. When you buy, pay attention.
