I love the 1500 line! There were three of them (v1, 2, 5). I need stability so I was happy to find this option. They are excellent running and lightweight running shoes for tempo runs. Last used for a half marathon. I also love using these old shoes for lawn work and other things as they are so light! Pros: Light weight Fast stability Provides a feel for the road Breathable Spacious toe box Heel support Cons: No longer a problem. But the v5's tongue design (perhaps the same as the previous model) felt stiff and initially bothered me. It folded and hit the top of the foot at the ankle. Maybe I just had to break in or find a place a little off the beaten path because I don't notice it anymore. Color options - yes, these are racers, so a bold color scheme can be expected. However, I'm not a big fan of white or really bright colors. More subtle color suggestions would be great as I like to wear them as casual shoes sometimes (love purple and blue). I usually use a marker or marker to neutralize the features and change the strings as needed. On the purple v5, the white accents have been changed to black.
