97 Safari/Astro 4.3 Vortec engine
Will or will not fit in factory oil pan. The factory oil pan is made of aluminum and is not easy to modify. Larger oil pans for the 4.3 liter 6 cylinder engine are not available. The Revain website says it will fit my car, but it doesn't. Very disappointed, had to waste time trying it. I ended up getting new connecting rod bearings from sealed Amazons and an oil pan gasket that fit like it should. Bought a factory oil pump from a local auto parts store.
