Although it looks a bit strange and quite simple, it was a great help for multi-player training in our little league. Some of the boys needed help learning proper throwing mechanics and with practice it worked really well to illustrate better hand placement. We found the unexpected benefit of being a great tool for dealing with players who tend to drop sidearms. When we used it with our more powerful sidearm launchers, we used it differently than intended and we had the guys try to hit the end of the plastic arm instead of dodging it. This helps the cubs be alert when they put their hands down and greatly increases their speed. Sometimes something as simple as this works very well when teaching more complex concepts. I will continue to use this with my players and encourage proper throwing mechanics. Also, one of the founders is a great guy who personally takes care of the service and support. If you want to help your players shoot with better mechanics, get one of these and be amazed by the results.
