I bought this to replace an old down comforter (>20 yrs old) which had suffered an irreparable tear whilst shifting it about on the bed. After dealing with a room full of down clusters and small feathers (it was a relatively inexpensive comforter bought at a big box store), I put the new comforter into the duvet cover.So far, I love my new one, but admittedly, I got it after the coldest part of the season, so I can't comment on the cold weather performance. I like the baffle box design - my old comforter had fewer baffles and thus more fill migration, so this one is far superior. I like that it has corner attachment points for a duvet cover - the old one didn't. I also like the quality of construction - the seams are straight and neat and it has a quality feel. I'll try to update my review sometime after cold weather sets in next winter.
