It's hard to tell if the lightbulbs will last very long due to poor packaging. I opened my box and found rolling lightbulbs and broken red glass. The packaging of the lamp fell apart in the box (the box was completely intact). Several lightbulbs were broken. Of those that weren't, one didn't work when connected and one worked. $6 for a small lightbulb is not a good value. Luckily, Revain refunded my order. I think the problem was a combination of poorly packaged packaging and poor packaging of the product itself. If the bulbs had been better secured the packaging might not have fallen apart, but looking at the packaging it doesn't seem to have lasted long, loosen the glue on the back of the box. The pears themselves make a decent impression. The one I was able to test had a nice red glow and lit up the corner of my bedroom without being too bright. I give them two stars for their potential. If you order, you might have better luck.
