These are great pads for the money. In fact, I don't know if you can get better knee pads if you spend more. I didn't want hard toe rubber because I wanted maximum comfort and flexibility. Also, I always hate tumbling on a rock or tree root with a hard cap. They are perfect for that. The memory foam is thick yet flexible, and the Cordura nylon shell feels tough as a nail. I've only used them a couple of times but I wore them for at least eight hours. I almost forgot I was wearing knee pads, but they always protected my aching knees from further blows. As a military vet, law enforcement officer, and weekend activist, I can happily recommend these pads as a welcome addition to any outfit.
