This belt fits everyone, but people's waist sizes vary greatly. I have a thin waist so would like it 5 inches shorter although I can wear it. When I zip up I go through the first pant loops and I have a bunch of extra belts hanging. There is a loop for the slider to keep it from dangling, but I lost it twice when I took it off at the end. Day. First time I found it on the bathroom floor two days later, second time a few weeks before I found it under the dryer in the laundry room. The hinge has no permanent attachment so it just slips off. (see photo)
