I needed a tiny piece to fix an old convertible top that had a tear. Little did I know it was over 6 feet of material! So now I can make shoes or a belt. Ha ha. I can imagine the type of repair you would need 17" by 79". elephant bites? Either way...they won't be a perfect match in color or texture. It basically just has a sticky backing that you peel off and stick over a tear or area. So clearly not the most elegant professional solution if that's what you're looking for. But it's not expensive and it worked well for my purposes. Not sure how long it will last or in extreme weather. Luckily I have a million square feet of material in case I ever have to apply again.
