The 2 different magnifications of this mirror are amazing. If I just want to apply makeup, I can do that with a regular mirror. However, the light in this mirror is bright enough to allow me to put on my makeup and see what's really going on. With this mirror's 10x zoom, I can clearly see my pores and other blemishes and wrinkles that I'd rather not see. But when it comes to waxing or plucking my eyebrows, I don't have to carry a mirror to the window to see what I'm doing. I was able to attach this mirror directly to my wall, it has everything you need for it. Now I have both hands free to do whatever I want instead of wrestling with one hand. I love the simplicity of this mirror and I'm glad it's less cluttering on my counter. When I'm done with the mirror, I just lean it against the wall and you're done.
