This thermometer is completely useless. When I point it to a hot cup of coffee, it correctly says it's hot, but otherwise it just generates random numbers. I just took five consecutive readings and gotten temperatures of 97.4, 99.2, 97.9, 96.4 and "Lo". Good luck trying to use this to determine if you have a fever.
