Plates are loose, look cheap/probably defective. But so far it works and delivers the expected performance for various (and multiple) devices. Kill-a-Watt Pro draws less than 1W when devices aren't charging, which is a good thing. Overall power factor is around 0.5 so could be improved but overall good value for money.
