This is an amazing portable table. It's just the right size for snacks and drinks. I also have a stool that is exactly the same and I love it. This lightweight table is very easy to set up - you open it up and attach two stabilizing bars. (Love that they are attached and can't get lost.) The center piece of the stool just sits and the table sits on top. Rotate the chair to the desired height and it will lock into place. Then just put the countertop. There's nothing blocking it, but it stayed for me every time. He's firmly in his place. This is a sturdy table that comes in handy as an extra seat or to take with you on hikes, trips, etc. I use the matching stool for concerts and now I have the option to use this product as a stool or a table. It folds well and is very easy to disassemble and prepare for transport. The table folds and locks in the folded position to prevent unfolding when carried. It fits in my big backpack. I love it!
