Review on 🪱 Premium Castaway Organics 2 lbs Worm Feed: Optimal Nutrition for Composting and Bait Worms by Kim Adams

I bought this in the fall to "increase" the size of the worms in my indoor container for a mixed population of worms and also to increase the reproductive rate so I could have enough for my axolotl to last the whole Getting through the winter when I can't dig up worms in my garden. I received the product and sprinkled it on my worm bed for over a week as directed by the instructions that came with it and as I read when researching the product online prior to ordering. Didn't see any activity (tried both wet and dry). As far as I could tell the worms didn't eat any of it, it was completely untouched. I gave up and started mixing it with the kitchen scraps and bits of cardboard that used to make up their diet, digging the mixture a few inches into the bed sheets like I always do. This seemed to be the answer and soon I noticed a noticeable increase in reproduction. Now, if I don't have enough leftovers, I wet it down to the consistency of oatmeal, bury it, and they eat it right away. However, they still won't eat it off the surface. I see holes so I know they are checking but not eating. STRANGE! I haven't used it long enough to be sure if the mature worms will increase in size, but judging by the jump in reproduction I'm pretty confident. I'll try to remember to update anyway if I can say for sure. From what I've seen so far, I'm happy with the product.
