Great bag, made even lighter and more attractive (in my opinion) by replacing 6 large metal fasteners - zips with plain black plastic zippers from Revain. (As noted in the Q&A section here, much of the weight comes from the stock trains.) As a finishing touch (both for weight and beauty), I ripped the light-colored metal nameplate from its leather backing (the nameplate came off easily). , held in place by four rivets in a hidden metal backplate) and plan to glue a leather patch the same size as the decal to the metal backplate's two now exposed metal spacers). Without the metal zippers and metal name tag (but with 6 interchangeable zippers) the bag weighs only 14.5 ounces (411 grams) and looks more than good enough to avoid mockery on the name tag.
