I love this pencil case for my sixth grader who loves anything that looks like it was made for little kids. It's gender neutral and looks like an artist's tool bag, but it's not overly bulky or obtrusive. It accommodates everything on his pantry list with plenty of room and fits nicely in his backpack's front pocket without being bulky. I was able to put a whole box of markers on the bottom and was able to easily add 3 more on top. However, when I hold it in my hand, it doesn't feel huge at all. The material is easy to wash, the zippers are very well made. He's a very destructive kid, so I keep these things in mind when choosing his materials for the school year. I love the inner zippered pocket for storing headphones, spare pens and markers. I know it's not related to the purpose of the bag, but I really like the red label sewn on the front. This makes the whole design very aesthetic.
