There were no spring clips installed in the lanterns - you have to fight to attach them to the lantern. The cable connector, rocker connector, is junk and will not hold 14G cable. I had to use wire nuts to install. I actually bought these 8 inch lights by accident but decided to keep them and install them in the kitchens of homes I am remodeling for resale. I'm so glad that I only have two of the twelve lamps - I can just throw them away.
