Review on Jacob Alexander Solid Stripe Zipper by Brandon Battaglia

The fabric of the tie is beautiful. When I first saw it I thought I wanted more in different colors. Then I put it on and everything changed. I posted a question asking if it had a zip and was assured it did. It doesn't have a zipper, but it does have a bulky piece of plastic that has to create friction on the zipper to keep it from slipping off. This reduces slippage but does NOT stop it. The slip stop is bulky, which causes the knot to protrude from the shirt in an unusual way. I won't be ordering any more of these, nor can I recommend them. Wearing a tie to an important meeting. I noticed that my boss kept looking at me. I checked the knot and found it had slipped about 2 inches. No matter how beautiful the tie is, there is no alternative but to throw it in the trash and lower the rating to the minimum number of stars.
