Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ Wall Mount Iron Hanger for Max 5 inch Width Ironing Boards - Electric Iron Holder and Household Bathroom Shelf by Pete Norris

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Large Iron Attachment

I attached the attachment to the magnets and hung it on the side of the washer/dryer. This means I didn't use screws, but as with anything you can upgrade the screws and bushings if needed. * This is a large mount. My iron in this thing is small so it slides. The two side notches don't even come close to touching my iron. This limited installation location because if I hit a protruding cable the whole thing would fall off. If you have a 5.5" wide iron, that's fine.* It's made of a very hard, durable plastic. I have no doubts about its ability to withstand bumps or traffic jams. the warmth of a hot iron - which means I don't think it will melt off the wall or catch fire. I could believe it could leave melt marks on the surface.* I didn't use hooks to hang the ironing board. I was glad they were optional. You are very tough. Bottom line, this is a very good mount for a limited audience of people who have an iron that's just the right size. My iron isn't exactly the right size, so I'm a little overwhelmed by how well it holds a hot, dangerous object firmly in place. Another opportunity for improvement is a thin metal plate on a heat-resistant surface that will boost confidence.
