Review on 💻 Lenovo ThinkCentre M83: High Performance Intel Core i5-4570, 8GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Windows 10 Pro (Renewed) by Troy Houston

I bought this guy as a sort of workstation/server/experimental box. Strangely, I can't connect DisplayPort to my monitor, so I had to adapt with an HDMI cable (even though my monitor has DisplayPort). It's also incredibly fast with an SSD, the i5 4670 is still a good processor today. I'm currently running HardenedBSD, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and OmniOS on this guy and each OS works fine out of the box. The workspace used isn't bad either. Mine came with what was supposed to be a used or refurbished hard drive. I disabled it as I opted for an SSD, but there are enough SATA ports for an optical drive and an SSD + HDD.
