Lasts at least a few months with no problems but eventually all edges started to loosen and magnets fell out and got lost . However, I still use it in this state and still do my job of protecting my iPad from scratches. I just wish the design was more durable. It's been over 2 years since I bought it but it started falling apart, probably within 6-9 months. I don't even use my iPad that much so I'm surprised it's falling apart even after 6 months. I can usually only use my iPad for an hour or two once or twice a week, and I've gone weeks without even touching my iPad. When I use my iPad I handle it very gently and carefully, which makes it even stranger that the case started falling apart with such light use. Not great but not terrible either, I think 3 stars is fair.
