As the proud owner of a hybrid Nintendo Switch, I can attest that the newer Switch Lite is infinitely more portable and lightweight than its predecessor. It's easy to tuck away in your jacket's inside pocket and feels good in your hands, suggesting a high-quality device. Controls are fully operational. A good screen, and the reduced diagonal makes the picture look even better; yet, nothing remarkable has occurred. Except for a handful of minor projects requiring joycons, all of the games that have already been released for the Switch can be played without any problems. The TV connection is missing, which is a deal breaker for me because I really value having that choice. Well, the sticks have not been corrected, thus eventually every owner in the SC will have to replace them due to intentional damage.
