For parents, cradles are very useful, especially for babies who are up all night, as it is much easier to feed them at night without waking them up completely. There are many different styles, but we chose this one for the height adjustment and durability. We were pleasantly surprised at how light and easy it is to assemble. The biggest disappointment is that the side cannot be opened/folded down for easier access directly from the bed. The tote bag is a nice plus, but I'm not sure I'll take it on vacation. It's easy to assemble, but there are others much easier and more portable than this one.
