Review on πŸ’Ό Case Logic AUA-314BLK 14.1-Inch Laptop/MacBook Air/Pro Retina Display and iPad Slim Case - Stylish and Functional in Black by David Cash

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice bag, could be perfect with a few modifications. You can do some yourself.

As my computers keep getting smaller, my need for cases is decreasing. I have a Dell 13", a 13" MacBook Pro, an iPad and 2 Kindles, all of which can be squeezed into this bag when needed. I only carry a 13" computer with me most of the time (I have a 14.1" bag) and the thin case makes it very easy to carry around. Now I call it "Murse" (men's wallet) because it is very light in combination with my small computer. I have had several Case Logic products and they are all durable and this black nylon case is very durable. My only comment on Case Logic for getting 5 stars is to make a few changes: 1) Better zippers - they hold but are hard to hold. I cut off all mine and replaced them with 1" key ring holders which make grabbing and yanking much easier. 2) Enlarge the outer compartment by 50% and expand it. I can hardly get a power supply here. Sometimes I wish it was bigger so I can add an external CD drive or hard drive, now I have to cram it into the main compartment. 3) Fully open the middle pocket (for office supplies) on 3 sides so that you can open it fully. Overall, for the price, this is a very good choice for a 13" or small computer bag. Some reviews bemoan the lack of pads to protect your computer, but you'll have to decide whether you want thin and light or soft, heavy and bulky. You can always add an indent if needed.

Pros
  • Bags, cases and cases
Cons
  • Not the best
