The instructions tell you to press button A (this is just an example, not an actual guide) to complete Task 1. You press button A and it doesn't do what it's supposed to. By playing around with it without reading the confusing instructions, I was able to figure out how to delete files. Even if you record something where you or someone else is speaking, it won't show that there are files on the device and you'll think it wasn't recorded. But the thing is, all you have to do is hit the play button and go through each voice recording you've made to find the one you want. I've given up trying to figure out how to actually lower the volume. Poor instructions did not give accurate information. I'm going to tape off the speaker slot to muffle the EXTREMELY LOUD playback this unit produces (even if you're whispering!). or items I want to add to the shopping list I would buy more. This will work well enough for my minimum requirements, but I suspect most people won't benefit from it.
